Game Rules

General Games Rules
  • Players must be 18 years old to register and play on ESPORTS BETS.
  • Players must live in a jurisdiction where online gambling is legal.
  • Users must have sufficient funds in their account balance before wagers will be accepted.
Palpable Error
  • We reserve the right to declare a bet void, if we, at our own discretion, deem it obvious that an error was made. Examples of palpable errors are given below. This is not an exhaustive list of palpable error examples.
  • Example 1: Incorrect odds: Odds on a selection should be 1.40 but were displayed as 14.0, this is an obvious human error and all bets placed at odds of 14.0 will be declared void.
  • Example 2: Flipped selections: Odds on a two way market should be (Team A 1.40 - Team B 2.75) but were displayed as (Team A 2.75 - Team B 1.40), all bets on this market will be declared void.
  • Example 3: Incorrect market name: A market should be named "Total kills 3.5" but is named "Total kills 13.5". All bets on this market will be declared void.
Specific Game Rules
Fixed Odds Betting Rules
  1. Markets will be settled based on the official broadcast, or if available, the game API. In case of dispute, the decision of E.G.G. N.V. is final.
  2. If a match is suspended or postponed and not resumed within 12 hours from the actual scheduled start time, then all bets will be void. The exception to this rule being any bet on whether a team/player advances in a tournament or wins the tournament. Such bets will stand regardless of a suspended or postponed match.
  3. If the name of a player or team is misspelled, all bets will stand as long as it’s clear what game or match the bets are on. If a player or team changes their name, lines offered using their previous name will stand as long as it’s clear what game or match the bets are on. If in an official match a player plays with the wrong nickname or on a smurf-account, the result is still valid unless it is evident that it is not the player that was supposed to play that match.
  4. If a map is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome will stand and be settled based on the official declared winner. The exception to this rule being Counter-Strike maps, for which all undetermined bets are cancelled if a team retires or is disqualified before all scheduled map rounds are played.
  5. Should a player/team withdraw before a tournament begins, or retire during a tournament, bets on that player/team to win the tournament, or to advance in the tournament, will be void and monies refunded. This rule does not apply to antepost betting, where all bets on a player/team will be considered lost if that player/team withdraws before the tournament, or retires during the tournament. If the player/team is listed as "must start", bets on this player/team are considered antepost bets.
  6. If the announced number of maps/rounds is changed or the match is offered with an incorrect map/round format, all wagers on the match, maps and wager types related directly to the match or maps will be declared void.
  7. If a map is restarted after being partially completed, any markets already determined will be settled from the partially completed map. Any markets that are not yet determined will be settled according to the restarted map.
  8. If a team is playing with a stand-in or replacement player, all bets will stand. If the organizer of the event allows for stand-ins and there is an official result, all bets will be settled as normal.
  9. If a player or team receives a walkover or win by admin decision on a map before the start of the map all wagers on the map will be declared void.
CS:GO - If a team retires, receives a win by admin decision or is disqualified before all scheduled rounds on a map are played, all wagers on the map will be cancelled.
LOL/Dota - If a walkover or win by admin decision is given in the first 10 minutes of a map (00:00 to 10:00), all wagers on the map will be cancelled. If a win by admin decision is awarded after 10:00, the map will be settled using the official result.
  10. In live betting, if a map is replayed due to a draw, disconnect or similar reasons, all live bets on the respective map will be void. The replay of the map will be treated as a separate event.
  11. In games with a Hero Draft/Champions Select phase bets during this phase are allowed.
  12. If a 5v5 team match starts with less than 10 players, or if a 6v6 team match starts with less than 12 players, all bets on the map and series will be void. In LOL/Dota, if a player disconnects during the first 10 minutes and is unable to reconnect or be replaced for the rest of the game, all bets on the map and series will be void. If one or more player(s) disconnects or quits after 10 minutes has passed, all bets will stand. In CS:GO, if at least 5 rounds are played with less than 10 players, all bets on the map and series will be void.
  13. When betting on CS:GO lines that are marked with "Full Buy", you are betting on who will win the round. The "Full Buy" is a condition that must be met in order for wagers on the round to stand.
A "Full Buy" is defined as follows:
At most one player on each team starts the round with a primary weapon worth less than $1000. The weapon does not need to be bought by the player themselves but can be given to them by a teammate.
  14. In a match where one team/player has an advantage of one or more maps awarded as part of the tournament format (for example due to one team coming from the upper bracket in a double elimination format), our match line will include the given advantage. If there is a 1-0 advantage, our map offering will start with map 2, if there is a 2-0 advantage, our map offering will start with map 3 and so on. If the advantage comes from a walkover/default win that was awarded by admin decision for example due to one team showing up late to their match this rule does not apply.
  15. In Battle Royale games (PUBG, Fortnite etc.) the outright winner, and all head to head markets, will be settled according to the official ranking. If the ranking calculation is not clearly explained by the official tournament rules, bets will be settled as follows: Bets on an individual round will be graded based on the placement of the team or player in said round. Placement referring to which team lasted longer.
Bets on a whole day of play will be graded based on the total points (Placement Points + Kill Points) gained on that day by the teams or players in question. This applies even if only a single round/match was played on that day.
Bets on the whole event such as "outright winner" will also be graded based on the total points (Placement Points + Kill Points) gained by each team or player over the course of the event.
  16. For bets on a specific player on a specific map, the player has to start on that map for bets to stand. If bets are offered for a specific player for a whole match, the player has to start on all maps of that match for bets to stand.
Parimutuel Betting
  1. Markets will be settled based on the official broadcast, or if available, the game API. In case of dispute, the decision of E.G.G. N.V. is final.
  2. For time based markets such as "How many kills between the 5 and 10 minute mark", in the event of a map or match finishing before the time period has completed, all bets will be void unless the result has been determined.
Example 1: If the market was Number of Kills between the 25 and 30 minute mark, and the options to bet on were 0, 1, 2, 3+, if the map finishes before 30:00, all bets will be refunded unless 3 kills have already been recorded in the time period, in which case 3+ will be the winning selection. This is because the result is not determined (two or more outcomes are still possible).
  3. "Between the 5 and 10 mark" means from 05:00 to 09:59 inclusive.
  4. For event based markets such as "Who will slay the fifth drake" or "Who will win Map 3", all bets will be void if the event does not happen. In these examples, if the 5th drake is not spawned, or if Map 3 is not played, all bets will be void.
  6. If a map is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome will stand and be settled based on the official declared winner.
  7. If the announced number of maps/rounds is changed or the match is offered with an incorrect map/round format, all wagers on the match, maps and wager types related directly to the match or maps will be declared void.
  8. If a player or team receives a walkover or win by admin decision on a map before the start of the map all wagers on the map outcome will be declared void.
CS:GO - If a team retires, receives a win by admin decision or is disqualified before all scheduled rounds on a map are played, all wagers on the map outcome will be cancelled.
LOL/Dota - If a walkover or win by admin decision is given in the first 10 minutes of a map (00:00 to 10:00), all wagers on the map outcome will be cancelled. If a win by admin decision is awarded after 10:00, the map will be settled using the official result.
  9. If a map is replayed due to a draw, disconnect or similar reasons, all live bets on the respective map will be void. The replay of the map will be treated as a separate event.
  10. If a team is playing with a stand-in or replacement player, all bets will stand. If the organizer of the event allows for stand-ins and there is an official result, all bets will be settled as normal.
  13. If a map is remade after being partially completed, any prop bets (1st blood, 1st tower, 1st to 10 kills etc.) already determined will be settled from the partially completed map.
The weapon does not need to be bought by the player themselves.
Guide to Parimutuel Betting and Rake

Parimutuel betting involves placing a stake on one of two (or more) outcomes for a given event.

These betable events can be based on the outcome of individual maps, whole matches (series), and even entire events. The number of possible outcomes varies from question to question. For example "Which of these 16 teams will win the whole event?".

In the case of a two choice outcome, i.e. "team A vs team B" you can choose one of two sides to place a wager on to win. Your winnings are calculated as a percentage of the total wager on the team you chose. That percentage is your winning (minus the rake) from the opposing option(s).

When there are more than two outcomes to choose from, the winnings are the sum of all the losing outcomes bar the single correct one minus the rake.

Parimutuel bets that do not end in a single outcome (i.e. draws or canceled) are refunded without a rake being taken.

Example 1.

In an outright bet there are two teams, so two possible outcomes. Ten users wager on the two teams, each user wagering €2.00 on each team. In this example Team A wins, thus:

Team A % of pool Team B % of pool Win
Player 1 €2.00 20     €3.80
Player 2 €2.00 20     €3.80
Player 3 €2.00 20     €3.80
Player 4 €2.00 20     €3.80
Player 5 €2.00 20     €3.80
Player 6     €2.00 20 lose
Player 7     €2.00 20 lose
Player 8     €2.00 20 lose
Player 9     €2.00 20 lose
Player 10     €2.00 20 lose
  €10.00 100% €10.00 100% €19.00

Rake = 10%.

User winnings = (total winnings - rake) / percent of winning option for each user (20% each in this example).

€10 - 10% / 20% = €1.80.
Return to Players 1 though 5, wager + winnings = €2.00 + €1.80 = €3.80.

Example 2.

As in Example 1 above, a BO3 wager, there are two teams, so two possible outcomes. Ten users wager on the two teams, each wagering a different amount on each team. In this example Team A wins again, thus:

Team A % of pool Team B % of pool Win
Player 1 €5.00 29.85     €3.80
Player 2 €5.50 32.83     €3.80
Player 3 €1.00 5.97     €3.80
Player 4 €2.00 11.95     €3.80
Player 5 €3.25 19.40     €3.80
Player 6     €4.00 17.50 lose
Player 7     €4.10 17.94 lose
Player 8     €3.75 16.42 lose
Player 9     €10.00 43.76 lose
Player 10     €1.00 4.38 lose
  €16.75 100% €22.85 100% €20.57

Rake = 10% = €22.85 * 0.1 = €2.28.
Winnings to distribute = €22.85 - €2.28 = €20.57

User winnings = (total winnings - rake) / percent of winning option for each user.

Example 3.

In the above examples, there are two teams and one winner. In the case of an event wide bet "Who of these 10 teams will win", there are 10 options, but still one unique outcome. So the users that choose the 9 losing teams, will lose their wagers and the winnings be distributed to the users who chose the winning team. The same logic is used for the winners percentage take of the winnings based on their percentage wager relative to others choosing the winning outcome.
